Pendleton Sixth Form College’s Creative Arts Department is celebrating an incredible achievement as its students secured all three top spots in the Under 18 competition at the prestigious Dark Peak Photo Festival  2025.

The festival, which took place from February 17 to 23, 2025, is a major event in the UK photography scene, with this year’s "Lost and Found" theme challenging participants to explore the emotions of loss and discovery through their imagery.

Each of the winning students impressed the judges with their technical skills, creative vision, and storytelling, standing out among a competitive field of young photographers. Their exceptional work was recognized with prizes including a camera, a tripod, and film equipment—tools that will help them continue their photographic journeys.

Adding to the excitement, Kallum Hall’s second-place image will be published in an upcoming edition of a print publication by Glossop Creates, a platform dedicated to celebrating local creativity.
