Pendleton Sixth Form College's School of Theatre celebrated remarkable success at the Buxton Festival Fringe last month, winning two prestigious awards for their production of Breaking the Code. Performing under the name
The Pendleton Codebreakers, the students delivered two fully staged performances on 10th and 11th July in the High Peak Ballroom at the Buxton Palace Hotel. Audiences were captivated by the performances, and the Festival Fringe committee, in attendance both nights, praised the professionalism and quality of the production.

Best Youth Actor for Alex Barker's portrayal of Alan Turing. Remarkably, out of ten nominations, including a nod for cast member Thomas Cunliffe as Dilly Knox, the Pendleton students were the only act across all disciplines to take home two awards.
